RAW TRIAL DAY 18
DAY 18
I have been noticing how dry my finger tips have been feeling. I didn’t think much of it at first because my hands do usually get dry during the winter season. The weather here has been very cold and very dry so it’s not uncommon to get dry hands. I’ve also heard that drying, even skin cracking near the area of your knuckles are both common detox symptoms. But what I am realizing that it is only my finger tips that have been quite dry.
Anywhoots, let’s get right down to the nitty gritty:
* smoothie (consisting of 3 large bananas, 3 tbsp flaxseed, 2 tbsp raw cacao powder, 1 cup water and a couple ice cubes) and a large banana on the side
This smoothie really perked me up! =)
* a mug of hot cacao ( tbsp cacao powder, 2 tbsp agave syrup)
* 3 plumbs, 1 Fuji apple, 1 tangelo, 1 medium sized banana
The plumbs we’re super juicy and the fruits complimented each other well.
LOOK MAM, AWL GONE =)
* a mug of hot cacao and 2 large bananas
* green smoothie (consisting of 2 small bananas, 1/3 cup frozen strawberries, 3 handfuls organic mixed greens, 1 and ½ cup water)
As you can tell, my bananas have ripened! This definitely help up my intake for today. I apologize again for the lack of content on this post. But I’ve been trying to make it up by posting up some beeeaauuutiful (be it very amateurish) pictures of my food….=T No, but really, I have an upcoming course in April so a lot of my time has been spent preparing for the that. But I do want to discuss something important tomorrow. I have slightly hinted a little bit about it in one of my previous posts but haven’t really gotten to it yet. I am very excited and at the same time very scared to share with you guys. So um…tune in…tomorrow?
;)
Oh wait! Can I show off what came in the mail today?!
My pure ground vanilla from Arizona has come in! I totally forgot I ordered this! Yeah, I know…it is kind of strange to show off bottles of grounded vanilla but LOOKIE:
I opened the Tahitian one and it smells lovely! Shhh, don’t tell anyone but I kiiiinda have a collection of herbal tea and spices -- it’s an obsession, really. But keep it just between us, okay? ;)
This is technically considered raw so I could use it in this trial but I am not sure if I should. I did state that I would avoid adding spices while on this trial and vanilla can kind of be considered a spice…? I probably will not use it until the trial is over.
Till next time guys!!

If your fingers are dry, a really good lotion is this Vaseline cream that I used to use when my hands peeled but it's a little greasy. Nivea is pretty good too and smells much better. haha. So what is this detox thing you're doing?
I am going to prepare the as you have taken today. But I would have the dragon fruit added. The dragon fruits that I got are bigger than yours... they are sweet too.
Don't try the vanilla in this trial. Transfer them to me. ^^ What food could vanilla be added into? I have some at home.
thanks for coming to my site!
Did "ropes" come out of you? Diverticulitis, in medical terms. I'm trying to guess your next topic... :P
I'm glad the raw trial is going well and that you're having such great success! :) I've tried mock salmon before... it's not bad... but eh... lol. We actually used to make it for the clients in our detox program. In the program, you fast for 5 days and gfo through a cleansing process with charcoal poultices, green drinks, fresh juices, and herbal tinctures (for the parasites) and for the remaining 5 days we incorporate the same program as the previous 5 days but add the raw diet. It's an awesome program.. I feel like a new person when I do it.
@goowokmui - I actually had to go and google that! LOL. No, my intenstines have are fine but thank you for worrying about them =). I am really liking this trial. The benefits this diet is providing me keeps on surprising me! And I do agree with you, I feel very cleansed in a way.
